Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad the pay, benefits, and office experience worked well for you. To be clear, though, the recent restructure was not targeted at remote employees. It reflected a strategic decision to restructure some of our sales and support operations as we shift how we approach certain segments of the business, both in terms of personnel and platform. The people affected were valued contributors and we recognize their work helped make ZoomInfo what it is today. The suggestion that in-office employees who stayed "don't know what they're doing" simply isn't accurate. Additionally, we go hard at the end of every month (which is true across SaaS sales broadly) but would push back on the characterization of the culture. Our employee engagement team works hard to make that sprint enjoyable, with in-office lunches and activities. Sales is a high-pressure environment by nature, and we're proud of the culture we've built around it. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, even where we see it differently. – Stephen Antuna, ZoomInfo SVP of Account Management

Fast paced. AI everything. Good teammates. Great sales team.

Cons

constant pivots. CEO's volume. still run like a little startup. Rough around the many edges. Stock is in free fall.

Thank you for being direct, and your kind words about your teammates and our internal AI adoption strategy. Your "constant pivots" criticism is heard, and while some of that is genuine responsiveness to a fast-moving market, we also know that pivots without enough context or communication can feel destabilizing rather than strategic. On the stock, we're not going to sugarcoat market realities, but we do believe in the trajectory we're building toward. We're sorry the experience didn't match what brought you here, and we'd welcome the chance to understand more about where we fell short. Feel free to reach out to your HR business partner or your direct manager if you'd like to discuss further. My door is always open as well. – Chad Herring, ZoomInfo CHRO

Pros

Great management in the CS org. Very little micromanagement, and lets you do your job as you see fit. Promotes work life balance and tend to be real people. Collaborative teams, usually willing to help each other out wherever needed. Good room for growth if you are performing well and are vocal about wanting to move up.

Cons

Salary could be higher for the market, and for how many products you are expected to work with and specialize in. Communication from marketing and leadership directly to clients could be more effectively communicated to the client facing roles prior to reaching the client.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the CS organization and for all you've done for ZoomInfo. I'm proud of the culture of collaboration and support that we've worked hard to build, so it's wonderful to hear that it's paying off for you. I believe that people do their best work when they're empowered; and that means autonomy, flexibility and freedom to get creative. That's how we innovate. I appreciate your candid feedback on cross-functional communication and product complexity. Platform simplification is an important near term goal for the whole company, and we're investing to move in the right direction. Thank you again for your feedback. It's helping us continue improving how we support our teams and equip client-facing employees for success. – Whitney Littman, ZoomInfo VP of Customer Success
