Pros

Free food, drinks, bike share program, cool location, dogs allowed in the office, stipend to experience zozi activities, nice colleagues.

Cons

I find it interesting that someone recently pointed out the company culture here regarding that lack of women in leadership roles. Current employees notice this, but don't ever mention it in fear of losing their job. I can say as a female that I do not plan on staying here long term for this reason. The current management in place will not carry the company forward as long as they continue hiring the same narrow-minded people with lack of leadership skills. Office is not really kept up and is messy, and not because there's a remodel people here are just sloppy, mainly in the private offices. Unrealistic benchmarks and goals set for account executives aka phone monkeys.

Pros

To begin, ZOZI is a great product and easy to get excited about. Travel, fitness, outdoors, getaways, etc. are things most people enjoy. Having the ability to say you work at a company that sells those experience (B2C side of the business,zozi.com) and also promotes SMB create unlimited rental and booking experiences through our software (B2B side,zozi.com/advance) is pretty great. Not to mention, as a benefit, you get credits to spend toward the activites. Other benefits include onsite yoga and massages, DOGS in the office (you can take your dog to work with you!), bikes to take out during lunch or on an errand, a patio, snacks/beverages in the kitchen, a gym membership, cell phone plan, as well as other health, 401k, etc. The culture coalition also meets weekly to plan different activities every month like happy hours, catered lunches, ice skating, hot chocolate bar, halloween costume contest, white elephant gift exchange, volunteering events, paint and sip, etc. They take suggestions from the employees as well! The people here are also very diverse and outgoing. The interests are varied (many are into half marathons, hiking, traveling, camping but other interests include surfing, diving, biking, soccer, climbing... you get the idea) Everyone does have one thing in common, though. They live the brand and they love animals, especially dogs. Overall, there is a great energy in the office and it comes from a team excited to work toward a common goal.

Cons

We do not have all the benefits in the world (no full meals served or laundry service for example) but I believe that is due to our size. Our office is also a bit difficult to get to in terms of public transportation and parking. It also is in a very touristy area so in the summertime, it can be very crowded in the area and surrounding restaurants/shops are expensive. We also do not have a ton of private meeting rooms BUT that is being addressed. They are working on remodeling the office as we speak so that could change.

Pros

Amazingly positive culture that rewards contribution, collaboration and achievement, and admonishes politicking. Talented, passionate, and motivating management team. Incredibly bright future; it's great to be the winner in the market. Culture that emphasizes professional development. I have full confidence in our CEO and his ability to lead--he has a track record of success at the company and is laser focused on Zozi's growth and market dominance. Zozi is a company that rewards true accomplishment and you get ahead on pure merit--an incredibly healthy culture. Management truly cares about and loves their employees, and career growth is a significant focus. This is the first company where I not only know all 100+ people in the company, I like them as well! Every single one! I would be lucky to say that about other companies I've worked for, and wouldn't say it unless it were absolutely true.

Cons

While so many people biking to work is a sign of those that value a very healthy lifestyle, the bike parking room could be designed a little bit more efficiently to accommodate all the bikes. Unfortunately, many of the negative reviews were written by a few jaded people who created multiple email addresses to stuff the ballot box. The overwhelming majority of positive reviews truly reflects the current state of the company.
