Pros

A "live the product" culture. Even if you aren't a cyclist or runner, activity is a cultural way of life. You'll be healthier and more active as a result of working here. Incredibly flexible schedule with regards to family/life commitments. Judged by your ability to get things done, not punching the clock. Awesome fitness credit can be used to buy a bike, parts, treadmill, indoor rower, and more. Zwift makes it easier to make being fit and active a part of your lifestyle. Awesome at-work gym. Go for a ride or a run pretty much any time of day. Showers in the office make it easy to clean up after. Long Beach is an awesome city to work in. Great food. Growing culture. Easy commuting options. A growing and thriving city on many counts. A fantastic, supportive, friendly, and collaborative employee base. You will make real friends with your co-workers. These are people that you'll want to show up to work with.

Cons

Seemingly disorganized management culture. Contradictory direction from different senior managers is not uncommon. Very much a top-down management structure in many ways, in spite of being a dynamic company that's still a start-up in many ways. Not necessarily a clear overall corporate direction on some key business components. "Freedom" often translates to a lack of clear direction. You have discretion/autonomy... until you don't. Multiple offices with key personnel can be a major roadblock to project advancement. No clear career-growth trajectories.

Pros

So far I can't help but rave about the: -Welcoming coworkers -Gorgeous office (ocean views!) -Being provided with the newest and best technology needed to be most effective -A mentality of "we hire competent people so we trust you." I started on my own projects on day two which was a welcome relief after many companies where your first weeks are all hand holding and no real meat of the job. -Catered lunches on Wednesday. -A focus on growing engagement, planning events for team bonding and overall having fun! (Bring your nerf guns if you have them!) -On-Site exercise facilities including showers/laundry for your stinky gym clothes. -Free downtown parking -Flexible Hours -Full Benefits -401K -Unlimited Snacks -International Offices (I've already worked with our Rio, London and NYC Offices) -Earn-a-Bike Program -Cross-functional assistance. Everyone is willing to pitch in to help other teams. -POSITIVITY! We're busy but I've felt no bad vibes so far. Everyone is pretty upbeat.

Cons

We're growing rapidly with lots going on, so if you aren't someone who likes to find solutions and make an attempt before running for help this probably isn't a great fit.
