Pros

Exceptional salary ranges and benefits. Get to learn and work with many talented and fun people. Lots of effort given to keep employees happy and comfortable.

Cons

Very political. Rockstar employees usually overburdened with work to clean up messes made by not so stellar employees who still get positive reinforcement and stick around.

Pros

Why you should want to work at Zynga: 1. Startup culture with job stability 2. Great Work/Life Balance - overtime is rare. 3. Well defined career tracks for all disciplines 4. Competitive compensation and benefits 5. Your work will reach millions of users 6. Work with industry veterans - did you know the game designer for NBA Jam is a game designer at Zynga.

Cons

1. You won't get the equity you would get at a startup. However, I've worked for 2 startups that were bought and can say that the only people getting rich from startups are the investors. 2. You won't be working at a AAA game title producing company that will lay you off once your game ships.

Pros

Great food, you can bring your dog, gym, shuttle, great people, some departmental growth, meritocracy.

Cons

Typical business cons (empty appreciation, layoffs, granular management metrics), typical gaming cons (long hours, tons of churn, takes a long time to spin up important processes), meritocracy (i.e. you won't move up unless you are amazing), little cross discipline training.
