Pros

- Your mom plays their games - Dogs allowed (which is kind of a con if you don't bring/have one)

Cons

- Stay away, the equity you will gain here now will be nothing this late in the game and certainly not worth the cost it will be to you: your soul. - Bonuses are advertised but really make up for what they pay under industry average.

Pros

New CEO and crew know how to make great games CStaff are supportive of initiative

Cons

Feel bad for the incoming CEO and crew who are used to working with world class game developers. -Zynga is a place of bloated titles, people who failed up to VP status having never shipped a great game fill the company ranks. -Shallow CVs and Bloated Titles Tons of inexperienced GMs, Directors and Middle Mangers making game decisions wrecking the company yoy. A web company that makes games, does not treat them like entertainment Questionable accounting Operationally unsustainable Product Management culture overwhelmingly disrupts greatness

Pros

Zynga is a fun place to work for the right personality. It's not for people who like to be "warm and fuzzy" all the time. But if you have the right attitude and outlook, you will find it fun here. - Great benefits (some of the best packages I've seen, compared to many other companies I've worked for) - perks (food, haircuts, massages, nutritionist, acupuncture, etc...) - Fast paced environment lets you learn fast - Exciting and fun jobs and great responsibilities - Good bonus structure (as far as I can tell) and promotion potential - Mostly fun people

Cons

- Long work hours (12-14/day) - Still disorganized, but it's still considered a startup - micromanaging from the higher levels - Even though staffing is crucial, lots of issues with the recruiting department and HR - Sometimes work is a grind - Too short term focused, but gradually getting more strategic
