Smoke and Mirrors

Pros

Some of the benefits are ok and if you are really good you can make money.

Cons

Greedy company whose number one and only objective is to make sure you get money from a member on every call and also tries to reduce the amount of commissions you make thru the ridiculous system they have set. Terrible Customer Service and the worst product I have ever sold in terms of value and what the customer gets in return. Everything there is smoke and mirrors once you realize what they are really doing if you are good enough to stay there long enough to figure it out. Surprised they are still in business.

Pros

Convenient place to work.

Cons

Training is sitting in a room for 2 weeks doing nothing. Then they put you on the phones and it’s sink or swim. Working here was a complete waist of time.

Pros

Work from Home and benefits.

Cons

Very difficult training that lasted 8 weeks-not 6 as they stated-total information overload. You dont find out what shift you will get until the very end of training and it may not be what you like... no changes allowed. Ridiculous amt of different screens all within a virtual environment that went so slow and 2 programs were DOS. Only get about 10 inbound calls per shift so you made a lot of outbound calls BIGGEST of all is the pay... you only get $10/hr and they tell you 10% commission. What they don't tell you is the commission is off company profit, not net sale amt...and if your conversion is under 40% you don't even get that. Commission really could be only 2% , 4% , 6%, or 8% depending on closing ratio. Support was good at times... but not always...and because systems were so wonky and did not allow you to do everything needed to do ...you needed support to complete certain transactions. Depending who you ask, the rules change. During hurricane season we had to take cust service calls to change bookings. No sales -conversion drops - commission bombs out - and unless you can live on $10/hr minus taxes, ins, etc. no good. Everyone in my class quit shortly after class was over and lost a lot of money.
