Poor employee value

Pros

In house cafe, gym, nail salon, clinic, outside vendors all payroll deduct. Discounts on local entertainment. Alot of philanthropy. Flexible scheduling

Cons

Employees are a number not a person, company does not value loyal employees, little help/coaching provided to struggling employees to help them succeed, would rather hire more and more people than recognize talented sales people and guide them to success, extremely high turnover rate. New building brought more and more restrictions and less tools to be successful. Management promotes a cutthroat sales environment, everyone is out for themselves, team work is minimal or non existent. Very little training applicable training is provided, very low moral on salesfloor, very little balance in your life as a ICE employee

We appreciate your feedback. We strive to provide our employees with a number of perks and amenities onsite that will be valuable, and we are glad to hear that you are enjoying them. Our philanthropy initiatives are also at the heart of ICE, and we hope you have had the opportunity to participate in some of these initiatives. However, we are sorry to hear that you do not seem to be enjoying your career with us. Our goal is to always give all of our team members the tools they need to be successful, and it is concerning that you do not feel this way. We would like to encourage you to reach out to our Director of Employee Relations at (602) 635-5328 to discuss your concerns further.

Pros

Club development team appears to have good product management and process. Cruise and travel benefits are good.

Cons

Software engineering lacks direction Childlike egos scrap any process Software Architect allowed to be abusive toward employees due to friendship with CEO Most projects have lack real Product Management. When a project is on track to meet a deadline new features are shoe-horned in at the end and employees are expected to work nights and weekends for new projects to get put in. Health Benefits are middle of the road at best and very expensive.

Run, don't walk away from this company.

Pros

I'm so embarrassed I worked here it'll never be on my resume. No one is even worth networking with for business. The company as a whole is a big joke. The people are even a bigger joke - they think they "know it all" when they're just a bunch of fools.

Cons

Everything. From management to co-workers, expectations, job requirements, upper management couldn't manage themselves out of a paper bag. Don't expect to make any money - salaries are extremely LOW. They "close" for the last 2 weeks of the year and if you don't have PTO time to get paid you're forced to take unpaid time off. PTO time includes ALL holidays - and again, if you don't have time saved up you won't get paid even if you're a salaried employee. Oh, and enjoy that 2 block walk to the office because they moved but weren't smart enough to think ahead to half the people have to park in "overflow". Don't let a title with "manager" in it suck you in either, everyone is a manager there.
