The company offers growth opportunities across departments and occupies a cool market niche with their non-invasive medical imaging systems.

Cons

Canfield suffers from systemic disorganization and company-wide communication issues, as well as a very high degree of micromanagement that trickles down directly from the CEO. The company culture is very focused on "maintaining the status quo" with very few people, if any, willing to speak out against the failings of their supervisors or improve company processes. It is also often necessary to perform other people's jobs or babysit them in order for your work to be done, which is seldom recognized by management and sometimes even criticized.

My role was 'invented' just before being hired, so formal training wasn't really an option, but with the right mindset and drive, I found myself helping to define what my role was there. No regrets.
