It was a full time job that could be counted on for steady work.

Cons

The company cared nothing for it's employees. They fired the man who knew everything about every product that we produced. They then split his workload up between the rest of us so they could save his salary. Without his leadership we didn't have anyone to ask technical questions.

Pros

Somewhat flexible regarding time off, but it depends on your manager. No consistent guidelines for this. I came from the Kaba side so can't speak for former Dorma employees, but again, the merger happened two years ago and there's no plan in place.

Cons

Upper management non-existent for all visible purposes. Communication is terrible and muddled when there is any. HR and IT incompetent at local level. Shutting down plants left and right and moving products to Mexico since merger.

flexibility, Plant closed for two weeks due to Covid and we had to use our personal time off. Pay is below average. Micromanagement. Favoritism shown towards certain employees that aren’t very good at their jobs. Health insurance benefits below average
