Despite receiving an Outstanding rating during the mid-year review, I was given a second-rank rating during the annual appraisal, with no clear explanation or constructive feedback provided. To add to my frustration, a colleague from the pilot batch, with whom I worked as a PAL, was given an Outstanding rating and promoted to Senior Analyst. This disparity in recognition has been difficult to understand, especially when the same level of commitment and effort was put into our work.
The lack of transparency and perceived bias has caused significant disappointment. It feels as though hard work and dedication are not being fairly recognized, which has made this experience feel like a poor investment of time. It’s disheartening to see partiality at play, and I’m not alone in feeling this way — many advisors have left the organization due to similar concerns, and you can find their feedback through reviews online.
