Pros

Sales Managers are okay most of the time, but they do what they are told with little latitude to think for themselves. It's the directors and VPs with fragile egos that will decide that certain employees will be targeted until they quit or are reassigned to poor performing teams and performanced out. HR will ignore complaints outside of protecting themselves and petty behavior continues.

Cons

Middle management have fragile egos, if you aren't kissing their behinds, you will be isolated, quietly outcast and be reassigned to an underperforming team as your job is lined up for deletion. I've avoided this but seen it happen to many of my talented coworkers. It's toxic
