Hourly employees are overworked and underpaid. GMs are given piles of paperwork to do on top of low labor budgets which leaves you working long days and more once you’re home.

Management was encouraged to consistently view security footage, very little trust No time for admin work during shift had to do work at home while expected to do over 40 hours at location Lots of turnover, volatile environment Never felt like you "left work" expected to be available all the time via phone, email, in person
