Good idea, terrible execution.

Pros

I was one of the first employees at iDashboards. It was an exciting time and held a lot of promise. Unfortunately due to poor management and very bad decisions, the company is now failing.

Cons

The CEO is a well intentioned individual but has absolutely no idea how to run any company especially a software company. If there was a right way to accomplish something, he did it wrong every single time in spite of very sound advice from an experienced management team. It will go down as a very good idea with the worst execution I have ever seen. The entire Sr. Sales staff has left and the fate of iDashboards is sealed. It's unfortunate.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review - we appreciate your feedback, however I would have to disagree with your statement regarding "there is no hope". iDashboards is in a growing phase and we have a lot of excitement surrounding our new and improved sales team and sales processes. We are all looking forward to the much anticipated launch of V9.5 (June of 2017). We are hiring in many departments including development, sales, marketing and technical services. I hope this helps with any misunderstanding there may be as to the current status at iDashboards.

Failing Company

Pros

Very talented tech, support, and development teams

Cons

This company was held up by a select few people on the sales team and has been in a very steep and unstoppable dive since losing them several years ago. Nearly every manager in the company has either been laid off or quit since Christmas 2018, and the rank and file are starting to get the idea and are leaving as well. The CEO has absolutely no idea what he's doing and there isn't anyone left to step in and bring this company back to life. This is a difficult review for me to write, because I did enjoy my time at iDashboards. But it is clear what's happening to the company, and for that reason I cannot recommend iDashboards to anyone unless you are interested in saving failing companies.

A hot mess

Pros

They like to have fun and pretend everything is okay.

Cons

Where to begin... Low pay.... HIGH turnover would be an understatement....They say you can work remote or from home, but that is far from true and only applies to certain people...Favoritism here is ridiculous. Cherry picking from managers and leadership, leads that do come to the sales reps are more often than not bad leads. They are afraid to fire people that need to be let go, although that has begun to change a little bit. The sales team needs to be cut down to a max of 5-10 people total. Play hard, work not at all.... Ping pong and xbox are a terrible idea when you are down in sales for the quarter/year.

Thank you for taking the time to contribute a review. We’re sad to hear that your experience hasn’t been a great one and would love to help change your opinion of our company if we can so I’d encourage you to speak to a manager to share your concerns. We absolutely make every effort to decrease turnover, while turnover can sometimes be unavoidable we’re proud of the fact that the average tenure of the workforce at iDashboards is currently 3.2 years. Plus, more than 80% of our management team has been promoted from within after growing their careers within the organization. Also, to address your concern on lead distribution, it should be pointed out that while in the past there may have been issues with former managers selling into the same territories as their reps, there are now zero overlapping sales territories in the organization.
