Pros
I work on the National Sales team and overall I love working for iHeart. My team is great, someone is always willing and able to answer a question or help you out. There is a ton of work/life balance, you rarely ever work late but even when you do, there are plenty of days where things or slow and I can log off early so it all evens out. The benefits are pretty standard and pre-covid the company offers a lot of fun events to attend. The pay for the role is pretty average, but I've definitely had worse. All in all, it's a positive environment to be in on a daily basis.
Cons
Don't love being paid hourly and having to submit a timecard. The process is tedious and kind of silly seeing as we are never going to log less than 40 hours a week, but we can't log overtime either. Some of the local station NSAs that we work with every day are less than helpful. Some are absolutely great! But overall there seems to be a divide between some of the departments at iHeart and I can't understand why. It's a massive company so even though these people are technically your coworkers, it doesn't always feel that way.
