Pros

The benefits package was outstanding if the pay was not. Also, they do have ownership of all the good tools for programming that you would ever want (Selector, tons of radio ratings tools, etc.)

Cons

Management some of the worst money grubbing people I have ever met. People hired then fired within 6 months because "change" was needed. Revolving door. Programming people -- the people who work on the product they theoretically sell to advertisers -- treated like worthless and unnessesary expenses (drains) on budget.

Pros

The company knows where it wants to go. They are willing to provide the resources and research to help you accomplish your job.

Cons

Sometimes too much top down management. More and more mandates and fewer decisions being made locally. Seeing more and more employees on the streets through reductions in force. Stressful because of manpower challenges in some areas.

Pros

I had a good experience working at Clear Channel. Tere is A TON of money to be made-- I left making in the high 6 figures, I was just grossly disgusted with Senior Management and their lack of management. It went from being a fun place to a depressing place.

Cons

Not the best place for advancement but in NYC -- Managers don't manage. Senior sellers are the only ones making money -- everyone else is working for scraps. I left as a Senior seller and was very aware of how little some of my co workers made. Wouldn't suggest it unless you are well connected. Otherwise, you'll just be overworked and underpaid.
