Pros

iQor is a good company depending on what department you get placed with. If you are lucky and get placed in a program like DOE that compensates well this could become a lifetime career. However if you are place in Verizon or similar you start making less then what you would at Burger King. This alone should tell you what type of people are getting hired. Hours are great and few areas require late nights and weekends. Most areas are family friendly and understanding if you need to leave early or come in late once in awhile. Those wanting to get into management have the opportunity to do so but little career advancement once they become one. Their referral for life program is great however I would only recommend to a friend if they were placed in a good department.

Cons

The VP's tend to stay in their offices most of the day with little agent interaction. They need to remember they wouldn't have a job without them. Some areas have fun contests and interactions however we have 1 department that won't let their employees even get up for a group photo. This is due to their VP who doesn't like contests and the scrouge vibe is infective. You hear AVP's and VP in one particular department make fun of the agents or say inappropriate comments. Any backlash and your job would be in jeopardy. She only hires male AVP's and when pressured to hire a woman AVP she wasn't treated fairly and was soon fired. Ratings are based on how well you are liked. And I've heard people who weren't liked they found a way to get them fired. There isn't a retirement plan or matching 401k for anyone that isn't a high level manager. This is too bad considering a lot of people would take advantage and iQor would be able to compete benefits wise with Target and other Minneapolis based headquarters. People fingerprint in for their time, if you get up to talk to your manager your screen shuts off and you are locked out. Many people forget to fix their timekey or submit them too late and end up not getting paid for hours worked.
