Pros

Working from home is all I have for pros.

Cons

Please note, not all departments or teams are not created equal. Depending on which manager you're under (& there are several), will depend on the type of experience you'll have. Untrustworthy, unnecessary workflow changes, last minute schedule changes (especially during the holidays and weekends.). Not being honest with their team and using it as a tactic to make them work harder. Never addressing concerns of team members individually, while bringing it to the attention of the entire team, which doesn't solve the problem at all. Some say the pay is good, I guess it depends on the department....I say that it sucks!! They constantly bring up work life balance, as if it's important.... There isn't any and I mean none at all. You have PTO time, but good luck using it. Even if you apply years in advance, you may still get denied. For every little thing you do, there's an occurrence and I mean every-thing. They no longer take doctors notes due to (as they say), it was being abused. This is really unfair to the people that actually have good reason to be out for any type of medical issues. So occurrence. Scheduling department is rude, I mean rude! Office politics are at an all time high!! If you're not clicked up with someone or brown nosing, good luck with getting ahead. I could go on and on, I've been here long enough to see the changes and they aren't for the better. I mean, almost an entire department lost their jobs because they were outsourced to the philippines!! They way they found out was horrible. I use to love it there, looked forward to a long-term career and moving up, but that ship as sailed. I say, enter at your own risk and if you actually love helping people, I'm not sure this is the place for you. As it is a quantity or quality type of company.

Pros

Decent benefits Peer to peer support

Cons

If you enjoy having a major policy change with only two days notice, then this company may be for you. A new attendance policy was rolled out with only 2 days notice before it went into effect. There were multiple questions regarding the incomplete policy that took close to a month to get the answers. If you want to work for a soon to be billion dollar company that purposely tries to make achieving a bonus more difficult, then this may be the company for you. Similar to the attendance roll out , the new calculation for daily productivity went just as smooth. Upper management spent 30 min explaining the new method said they “researched it” and it would be a more “fair” method. Thus far, for those of us keeping track, it is not the case . So they either did not do their due diligence to pilot this or they flat out lied to their employees. This used to be a great place to work some years ago. The way things are currently going, it it obvious that upper management does not care about the techs cranking out these scans. Most up them don’t even know how to read an ekg. If you enjoy working for a company that is all about profit and keeps the medical aspect as a means of marketing, this may be the place for you.
