Pros

Great community of employees. Everyone is friendly and helpful while striving to be great at their jobs. Benefits are above average for a company of this size.

Cons

Pay is somewhat below average when viewed based on the cost of living in the Bay Area. Rapid growth causes constant directional changes in company strategy. Management has a tendency to micro-manage some employees, implying a lack of confidence in employees.

Pros

Most of the senior management and many of the non-executive staff are extremely competent and most of the people working for the organization are extremely dedicated to the vision of iRise as a company.

Cons

As with any small company, decisions tend to be dominated by a couple personalities and while there is a distinct dedication to a corporate vision, the same level of agreement does not exist on HOW to pursue that vision. Some of that is inherent to working in a small company and some of it is just a lack of patience for a particular strategy to gain traction. As a result, the strategies seem to shift a little to rapidly to remain coherent.
