Pros

Some lovely people, willing to make things work

Cons

Absolutely disgusting (male) management with appaling behaviors that are brushed off like they never happened by colleagues and HR. Company pretends to be flexible but is actually not. Posts fake reviews to bump up the rating and deceive people in thinking that this is a company that's inclusive, flexible and "cool". FAR FROM IT. You are promised you will get an induction but if your line manager is one of the above mentioned, it won't happen and you'll be thrown into a cage of wolves to eat you while you're beaten down and discredited at any chance by your own line manager. If you're thinking of joining this company all I can say is: JOIN AT YOUR OWN RISK.

It is disappointing to see that you had this experience at nCino. We pride ourselves on offering a safe, friendly, comfortable environment where all can be successful and enjoy their roles within the company. We have a very professional People Operations function with representatives in all of our major locations to assist with various employee relations matters and they take all complaints seriously and appropriately look into all matters. And, we can assure you that no one within nCino has the time nor interest in posting fake reviews - nor do we have to. Our engagement is strong across the company and we continue to strive to keep that engagement strong and not become complacent when it comes to nurturing our culture and supporting our employees. Again, we regret that you did not have a good experience and wish you well in all of your future career endeavors!

Pros

I love so many of the people I work with. PTO is great for a company in the US. Work life balance is very good.

Cons

I have lost faith in the leadership. Mandating 5x/week back in office is less flexible than pre-COVID. It’s the only company I know that has gotten less flexible, which the executives should be embarrassed by. CEO seems to be surrounding himself with yes men telling him that this mandate and is somehow a good idea. Additionally, the new-ish CPO really doesn’t have people skills for the job. We just had a round of layoffs yet he avoids tough questions even though people are asking out of fear of losing their jobs and sadness for losing their coworkers.

Pros

Ncino is a accepted by some nice top banks. It is a complicated piece of object relationship based salesforce based custom managed package. They have gained good repo with Salesforce and Banks, which is not bad

Cons

As software point of view. It is unnecessarily complicated. If you have to go from A to B, you just go from A to B, instead at ncino, it is that you should from A to X then P, then Y then D, then G then come to B. But why ? This is how to managed to demonstrate the fake complexity to the banks and banks kinda liked it because it looked complicated and demoed in sophisticated manners. On other side, ncino enforces you to have a fun culture, this is not the fact, indirectly you are pamper your bosses and some political colleagues, if you don't work their way, its a high way. Also, there is no tolerance of learn and grow. They force you to perform from day one, no matter what, while there is no appropriate training for new joiners. They will give you a portal and tells you to start getting certified on ncino platform. The 4.7 rating that we are seeing in the company page is a biased rating. As you are asked to rate all over on Internet just to show off how great the company is and how great the culture is. Its all fake.
