Pros

Team mates are stellar, can count on them, and never dread having to interact with them. Personal management is also great, constant dialogue and assistance in furthering my career within nCino.

Cons

Higher up leadership seems to disregard employee feedback. Losing several great co-workers (likely more) because of the recent announcement local employees would be required to be in-office the full week. Negative effects to productivity don't seem to matter because we're an "in-person type of environment" which I guess will make everything better. Mind you we were constantly reminded during our WFH only period during the pandemic about how we were crushing it and smashing our profit goals/records. After all the hard work, employees now get rewarded with having to deal with commutes, extra expenses, and sitting in a cubicle five days a week. No raises, or bonuses to be seen. Not sure the arcade, putting green, or new buildings will alleviate the issues.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this sorry excuse for a corporation who only cares about money and upper management and above.

Cons

nCino completly destroyed the culture we had with all the lies that have been told by leadership. We were told that our culture was the reason we were purchased, only to completly destroy that culture into a "we do not care about support staff culture." Complete disregard for all support staff that came with the purchased company. No trust, no respect. Terrible company and please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a job. They do not care at all about support staff and so you can bet that they will be doing all the work themselves because they cannot retain support staff. Do not buy into all the lies, there is nothing good for anyone who works as support staff at ncino. Full of lies and BS

We are sorry to hear about your experience as we strive to make the nCino employee experience a good one. Transitions through mergers and acquisitions are always challenging. Let me assure you, we highly respect our support staff, along with all of our team members. And we disagree that there is no room for growth. In 2022, 406 employees out of 1650 were promoted. That is 25% of our internal staff and that is a consistent percentage, with some years seeing stats in the 30+%. We pride ourselves on identifying, selecting and developing the very best talent and helping them realize their career aspirations at nCino. We also strive to ensure that our cultural values guide our behaviors and actions to ensure the very best experience for all nCino employees. Unfortunately, we do realize that our culture, and our focus on delivering exceptional results isn't a fit for everyone. We wish you the best in your future career endeavors!

Pros

Great teammates and good lower level leadership. People are always willing to lend a hand. People are generally friendly and believe in incorporating fun into the workday. The work is also interesting and challenging, and I believe I can transfer the skills I’m learning at nCino to other jobs/companies in the future.

Cons

nCino is going backwards in terms of flexibility. The recently announced “5 days in office” policy is proof of that. Sure, leadership has said there’s “still flexibility,” but that’s been communicated as being able to work from home in the afternoon one day if you need to meet a contractor at home. In my opinion, that’s not even the bare minimum amount of flexibility. The CEO said repeatedly during the pandemic that we were all performing exceptionally while working remotely. He also said nCino post-pandemic would indeed return to the office, but “with more flexibility.” What changed? Why are we going backwards? I wish nCino gave employees a forum to express their frustrations. I’m highly disappointed I have to share this feedback via Glassdoor.
