      Pros

      Cool coworkers. I can't think of anything else pleasant about this place.

      Cons

      Bad management and favoritism. Terrible communication. You will get angry a lot and won't feel appreciated. If you deal with depression, it will get worse.

      Very interesting work. A wonderful environment to learn new skills and build your resume.

      Cons

      Not a place to build a career. Very poor pay for what is expected. Job expectations far exceed job description. Upper management changes too frequently, makes promises it can't keep and unpredictably demands massive overtime. Massive layoffs every few years.

      The culture at nLIGHT is unlike anything I have ever experienced. Each and every person is passionate about the company's products. There are a lot of very intelligent and talented people who will gladly share their knowledge and experiences with you to help you grow and learn.
