      Pros

      Local teams are great to work with. Relaxed atmosphere and good learning environment. Flexible work schedule is very nice.

      Cons

      Upper management is solely concerned about bottom line. There is little to no thought towards the employee. Layoffs are frequent and random.

      Business wise the company is doing great and has great business focused leadership. There are a lot of cool and interesting projects and products.

      Ethics is not just documents that you make employees sign every year and a paid membership in the “ethical companies association”. To be a truly ethical company, onsemi needs to practice it, by empowering employees to speak out when they see something wrong and not hide under their desks. I have witnessed employees who tried to speak out to point on wrongdoing, they either were slapped and never opened their mouth again or got fired under layoff excuse. Sadly, in this kind of environment, the wellbeing of the employees is compromised and the company will not do well long term.
