      Pros

      One of the few large multinational headquartered companies in Phoenix. Acquisitive. Pay is above average.

      Cons

      Motorola bureaucracy endures. Old mainframe systems. Lots of tribal knowledge. Veteran employees hoard knowledge as a way for job security. No appetite to modernize. Good old boy network very alive and well. Status quo. Don't rock the boat. Lots of offshoring. Expect US employees to accommodate Europe and Asia time zones. Very egalitarian. VPs and above can fly business class while rank and file go coach.

      Good internship experience. Opportunities to get involved with others. Decent building facilities

      I wasn't there long enough to really experience any major cons. My experience as an intern was sufficient.

      Not very strict management, only if you do well of what you should do; Pay for performance, every quarter bonus;

      Cons

      Too mixed products, no very interesting technology; Buy different companies, but not deal well with them; No very good communication with boss;
