Pros

Company as a whole takes good care of their employees. Quick to pass down surprise and delights when sales are good. Listens to the voice of the employee via pulse surveys

Cons

Management is toxic and can be easily influenced by the "squeaky wheel". Cliques form with no repercussions.

Pros

As a part-time employee I had dental, health and mental coverage (but I was still on my parent's insurance so never used it). My co-workers were really lovely people with interesting backgrounds. As the youngest employee there and with the dangers of a mall I felt like they always had my back and would advocate for me if need be. Some managers really made a shift drag but there were three exceptional ones who understood our position was in retail and not emergency surgery so we were able to have fun. 50% off products. You get to build the display sets (getting paid to build LEGO sets) For the most part customers were friendly, happy and understanding because other than the outrageous prices it is very very hard to be mad in a LEGO store.

Cons

Felt kind of like being a Disney employee because every customer had to have an Experience and be whisked away out of reality. If you can't connect with kids or make them laugh this job is not for you. Every shift longer than 6 hours left me feeling emotionally and physically drained.
