Pros

Cooperation, teamwork, and human relations are highly appreciated here. People management takes individual motivation factors, competencies, and performance motifs into consideration daily. All level managers periodically do one-on-ones with all direct reports and evaluate competencies, motivation, and carrier goals twice a year. Managers work closely and maintain a good relationship with all employees.

Cons

Although processes are defined, they are not always practical and even live. Giant organization above the local company present cultural differences and thus performance bottleneck in multinational cooperation especially when German headquarters are involved. Woke ideology has good ground to conquer.

Pros

Work to live here not live to work. Great time off benefits from relative to US baseline. Great exposure to international operations and before Covid plenty of awesome opportunities for business travel if you are motivated and in the right role.

Cons

Upward career movements are few and far between as turn over in leadership is extremely low to non existent. Prepare for lateral moves or leaving and coming back to make any salary headway. There is nearly zero chance of attaining meaningful supervisory experience due to extreme flatness of organization.
