Pros
-Most people are decent below DM position -Most customers are decent -Work is satisfying
Cons
-Management from DM and above is near-abusive and micro-management is the norm -Commission is a joke and base pay is not enough for the region without a proper commission -Benefits were far better when I started and have rapidly been stripped away such as free meals, a full office fridge, support from other stores, "quality of life" features as they would be called, no longer exist. You are on your own. -Management has installed a ceiling on promotion, nobody below a DM can become one or move into any other part of the company, progression is completely haulted.
