Congratulations to Alicia Meadows of CT Imaging for winning the Summer 2022 VISION award! Alicia's peers nominated her for the award, citing her exemplary display of Carilion values and VISION in helping her department grow. Alicia, a radiation therapist by training, had a vision for helping CT get more job applicants and fill its open positions with excellent candidates. Her idea was to educate senior radiation therapy students about opportunities to work in CT. Alicia shared her idea with her supervisor—who asked her to present the idea to CT leadership. The department's leadership gave her feedback and worked with her to make her vision a reality. The next step was talking with students. Alicia gave an amazing presentation to the senior radiation therapy class at Virginia Western Community College, answering students' questions and educating them about CT and its job opportunities. We are #CarilionProud of Alicia for taking the time to invest in our future!

Nancy was recognized for her lifelong dedication to health care, beginning her career as a nurse in 1973 and rising as an industry thought leader throughout her nearly 50-year career.
