💥 Project Spotlight 💥 Did you know that San Antonio is Inclusion City, USA? That’s why we are honored to be the civil engineer for The Multi-Assistance Center at Morgan’s Wonderland @morganswonderlandtexas, a center that provides comprehensive navigation services for individuals with disabilities and special needs. 🦋 This 165,000-sf building includes legal services, primary care, therapy services, and community support services. The MAC also received the Excellence in Construction Award by Associated Builders & Contractors South Texas.
Our Lansing, MI location had an Adopt-A-Highway event on July 18, where they helped keep the state's highways clean. Seventeen staff members participated as well as a few of this summer's interns. Colliers Engineering & Design hosted four scouts and helped them earn their Surveying Merit Badge, one of the oldest merit badges in the history of Boy Scouts of America. This event was sponsored and supported by The Society of American Military Engineers – Philadelphia Post and the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors. We sat down with Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Michelle Barkley from our San Antonio, TX office to discuss becoming a CFM and how they utilize their expertise to assess flood risks, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce regulations to keep homes and lives safe.
