This month we highlight some of these change-makers and invite you to reflect on the influence they have had on society. Crestron just launched its new 1 Beyond PTZ camera line. This line includes four all-new cameras, each equipped with optical zoom to uphold the integrity and pixel quality of the images captured. “The new Crestron 1 Beyond cameras are the latest leap forward in our growing portfolio of hybrid work solutions,” says Brad Hintze, EVP Global Marketing. “These cameras are designed to redefine the video experience in larger meeting spaces, ensuring that every participant, no matter their location in the room, is captured with perfect clarity for a professional video experience. This innovation is a testament to our commitment to enhancing meeting equity and engagement in the evolving landscape of workplace collaboration.”
With changes in technology and increased demands for our products in Europe, Crestron has relocated its offices to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Mechlen, Belgium. The lease at our existing location in Rijmenam expired and the work involved with this type of regional headquarters move started over a year ago. Designed to provide an infrastructure that meets our increased technological demands, our hybrid work environment, and future growth, the new location is conveniently located mid-way between Antwerp and Brussels providing easy access to major transportation hubs. “Accessibility for our employees, partners, and clients – both local and global – was a major priority when the search for a new home in Belgium was conducted. This new space fulfilled that requirement, but also checked other boxes of new construction, space to grow and ESG compliance. This is an exciting moment for the EMEA team. I and the rest of the leadership team look forward to visiting the new space in the near future,” notes Anthony Morin, Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations.
Each year Comparably, a workplace culture and monitoring platform powered by employee reviews, announces its awards for companies big and small across several categories. Crestron was named a Best Company for Diversity in 2023. The final rankings were determined based on the most positive sentiment ratings to a series of questions in nearly 20 core culture metrics. The answer to each question was given a numerical score and then compared to companies of similar size. To qualify, large companies (more than 500 employees) must have met a minimum of 75 employee participants. For statistical significance, additional weight was given to companies with more participation from their employee base, relative to company size. We’re proud to have won this award because it reflects that our employees recognize the effort Crestron puts into building a diverse organization.
