Frontier Technology Inc. was recently awarded a four-year, $32.4 million award from the U.S. Navy. The company will provide technical services for the Small Business Innovation Research Phase III program, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. These services will support several initiatives including health management, prognostics, communication systems, tactical information, data anomaly detection and analysis applications. Work will be performed in San Diego, California and Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed in September 2022. The latest award builds on the success Frontier Technology has experienced since moving its headquarters from California to Beavercreek in 2017. The company's 2017 revenue was $76.43 million, which represents almost 51 percent growth over the last three years. The jump in revenue landed the firm a spot on the Dayton Business Journal's list of fastest-growing companies.

Starting in June of 2016, Tamra Collins has applied her over 20 years of experience in accounting, financial management, and project control to assist FTI’s Sustainment and Integration Business Unit in the management of over twenty contracts and task orders. She has been key to smoothly coordinating FTI’s operations teams with various corporate functional staff in the execution of our workload. Currently she is assisting with preparing cost proposals for her business unit and providing final review and quality control for proposal submission. As her role continues to grow so does her value to FTI and our customers in being a trusted source for innovative solutions that provide a clear path for their success.
