Lights, camera, action! ✨ We are excited to premiere our second Member Stories video featuring production designer Lindsey Moran, whose amazing work has been seen in Hollywood blockbusters and hit TV shows like The Hunger Games and Shameless! Lindsey gives us a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to work on movie sets and design the celluloid environments that millions of movie lovers will fall in love with. 🎬 We also hear how attending an after-school arts program as a kid inspired Lindsey’s successful career in the entertainment industry, where she has shattered gender-based challenges along the way. When Lindsey isn’t collaborating with other talented creatives and entertainment icons, you can usually find her enjoying equally exciting pastimes, like rock climbing. Honoring a Credit Union legend. Last Thursday, First Entertainment renamed our 2 Hollywood headquarters buildings after Charles A. “Chuck” Bruen. Chuck started as CEO at First Ent in 1987, when the CU was $28M in assets. When Chuck retired in 2016, First Ent had grown to $1.5B. Chuck is a legend not only at First Ent, but across the CU industry. We had a great turnout to unveil the new building dedication plaque. Chuck’s family was on hand, including his Wife Donna, Son Eric (CEO of Desert Valleys FCU) and grandson. Thanks Chuck for your dedicated service and leadership. From now on we will refer to our buildings as “Bruen A” and “Bruen B”.

We’re excited to spotlight our third panelist for our upcoming live, virtual industry panel-- Kurt Patino! 🎬 Kurt grew up in Burbank, CA and runs Patino Management Company, a full-service Talent Management firm representing Film & TV actors. Kurt began his career as a Talent Agent and later co-founded Defining Artists Talent Agency. In his over twenty-year career as a Talent Rep., Kurt has guided the careers of well-known performers such as Rami Malek, America Ferrera, Kelly Stables, Nichole Sakura, Ayesha Curry, Molly Hagan, Barbara Niven, Kenneth Choi, and former Oscar® nominee Patty McCormack. Kurt produced the action-comedy feature film, “Double Threat,” which premiered in the summer of 2022 and was the sole indie feature amongst Hollywood blockbusters listed in Amazon Prime's “Top 10 in the US” category. He co-wrote & co-produced the comedy-adventure movie “Tin Holiday,” which won Best Story at the London International Film Festival and is now available on Amazon Prime. Kurt explored the Horror/Sci-Fi genre when he wrote and produced the web series “Soul Fire Rising” in 2009,
