Academy Award-winning cinematographer Roger Deakins received the Career Achievement Award and other incredible filmmakers were honored for their work on pictures including "The Woman King," "Top Gun: Maverick," "Good Night Oppy," "RRR," "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," "Women Talking," "Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio," "Babylon," "Louis Armstrong's Black & Blues," "Fire of Love," "The Whale," "Avatar: The Way of Water," "Nope," and "Everything Everywhere All at Once." On Wednesday, our People Operations Team held a special "POPs" event and treated the First Entertainment family to POP-themed snacks and games. 💥 The treats included fresh popcorn, lollipops, Pop-Tarts, Pop Rocks, cake pops, soda pop, and more! The team also personally delivered the goodies to our branches across LA. Thank you to our amazing POPs team for all you do to enhance the team member experience!

First Entertainment recently held a toy drive and fundraiser for the Kaiser Permanente Children’s Cancer Center in honor of superhero Julian. Together, our team donated 200 toys and $1,330.00. We are proud to help carry on Julian’s memory and mission to bring smiles to children and teens courageously fighting cancer during the holiday season.
