Last week, Gordon Food Service kicked off our 2024 Internship Programs, welcoming 58 interns from colleges and universities across the country to our Atlanta, divisional, and Home Offices. In the coming months, interns will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals, peers, and mentors; develop professional skills through firsthand experiences and meaningful projects; and champion innovation to drive the future of our industry and organization. Most recently, employees in Alabama packaged 1,500 meal boxes for those impacted by the Texas Panhandle wildfires with Mercy Chefs, while employees in Kentucky prepared 1,000 meals for community distribution with Dare to Care.
