Four years ago, Gordon Food Service partnered with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to create opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills, increase their understanding of the food service industry, and gain valuable experience. Through case study competitions, internship programs, and mentorship programs, these partnerships now extend across 10 HBCUs in the United States and demonstrate our commitment to enhancing diversity within our organization.
