Holiday Inn Club Vacations announced that it has been recognized by J.D. Power – for the third consecutive year – for providing “An Outstanding Customer Service Experience” with live phone interactions by its Owner Support team in 2024. Three years ago, HICV became the first company in the vacation ownership industry to achieve this certification. In 2024, the company remains the only organization in the industry to earn this certification. “Earning a J.D. Power certification for the third year in a row means so much more than receiving it the previous two years. Three consecutive years demonstrates an important trend that I have advocated for since joining the organization: Holiday Inn Club Vacations is committed to making customer obsession an integral part of its culture,” said John Staten, President and Chief Executive Officer at Holiday Inn Club Vacations. "The consumers who interact with our brand are constantly evolving, so meeting those needs requires a team that is not only following standardized best practices, but also remains agile to fit changing needs. No two years of the certification process have been the same, and each year, our team continues to rise to the occasion to earn this certification.”
Our corporate and resort teams do a wonderful job of representing HICV in the community. Many of these team member community events and drives are organized by designated Heart Travels Ambassadors. Today, we are highlighting Mary Fink, one of our long-time Heart Travels Ambassadors. Below, Mary shares her experiences and insights about the program: Q: How long have you been a Heart Travels Ambassador? A: Approximately seven years. I have seen the program grow and continue to define the way we show up in the communities we serve. Q: What made you interested in getting involved in the Heart Travels program? A: Orange Lake Resort was giving back to the community in smaller ways when I joined the company. When Holiday Inn Club Vacations created the Heart Travels program to give more structure to the program and improve it, I knew I had to be a part of it; giving back to the community is very important to me. Q: You serve as an Ambassador at a large resort with over 1,000 team members. How do you keep so many team members engaged and interested in CSR initiatives? A: Our success starts with our leadership team, which has made it a priority to give back to our community. We listen to the ambassadors from each department and team members about what organizations they would like to support and what works with their schedules. We strive to support company-wide efforts, but also the smaller, local organizations that directly impact our area and our resort team members.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations is thrilled to share a remarkable achievement resulting from a recent partnership between Orange Lake Resort and Miami-Dade Animal Services (MDAS). This initiative demonstrates our ongoing commitment to both environmental sustainability and community support. MDAS approached the resort team with a unique opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause. They sought a way to repurpose OLR’s discarded linens, which, while no longer meeting our brand standards, could still be put to good use. The team eagerly embraced the challenge, launching a collaborative effort to collect, inspect, bag, and donate the lightly stained or torn towels and sheets. Over the course of nearly a month, the Laundry Facilities team gathered a substantial amount of linen, totaling an impressive 2,955 pounds. These items, which would have otherwise been discarded, were carefully sorted and inspected to ensure their suitability for donation. The collection primarily included towels and sheets that will provide comfort to over 800 animals in need across several different shelters in South Florida.
