Applying Light in ways that Improve Life 2023 Sustainability Report
IPG Photonics supports earthquake relief efforts in Turkey We are deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake that affected thousands of people in Turkey on February 06, 2023 and the ongoing aftershocks that continue to cause more destruction. To help support victims and relief workers in the aftermaths of these disasters, IPG Photonics has committed to donating $100,000 USD dollars to the Turkish Red Crescent, a non-profit providing humanitarian relief such as food, supplies, shelter, winter clothing, and medical care. We will continue to identify ways to provide support during this challenging time.
IPG Photonics Participates in Two Events Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace IPG Photonics has sponsored two recent events promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, the Boston College Center for Work & Family (BCCWF) Roundtable Members Fall 2022 Meeting and the Massachusetts Conference for Women. The BCCWF Roundtable Members Fall Meeting took place November 14-16 featured the release of the new Executive Briefing on Supporting LGBTQ+ Employees, open forum discussions on mental health, and presentations. The Massachusetts Conference for Women took place November 30th and December 1st. According to the conference website, the event provides “Dozens of expert speakers lead workshops and seminars on the issues that matter most to women, including personal finance, business and entrepreneurship, health, work/life balance and more. The Conference offers incredible opportunities for business networking, professional development and personal growth.”
