We’re here to support our field technicians, associates, residents, and partners as they work to reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact. Invitation Homes’ Green Spaces initiative brings together stakeholders to expand conservation efforts in our markets. And externally, we invest in vehicles like the Fifth Wall Climate Technology Fund to support companies creating climate-friendly technologies in real estate. #invitationhomes #invh #sfr #esg

Through the installation of recycled flooring in some of our homes, we were able to save about 25 million 12-ounce plastic bottles from landfills in 2021. At Invitation Homes, we’re proud to provide quality homes, and we are always looking for ways to make them better and reduce their footprint. #invitationhomes #invh #sfr #esg
We’re thrilled to announce the signing of new partnership agreements with four trade schools in our local markets as part of Invitation to SkillUp – our initiative aimed at helping to close the skilled trades gap. We’ll be working with the Center for Employment Training in Colton, California; Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina; Manatee Technical College in Bradenton, Florida; and Renton Technical College in Renton, Washington. Through these engagements, we’ll support scholarship opportunities in skilled trades and highlight potential career pathways through associate volunteer efforts with students. At Invitation Homes, we’re all too familiar with the critical need for skilled trade workers. We believe that outreach and education must start with younger generations to effectively bolster the pipeline of skilled trades workers. As we kick off the New Year, we continue to see strong demand for high-quality housing options. Unfortunately, the number of skilled trades workers has been declining in the United States for years. Through Invitation to SkillUp, we’re actively investing in the American workforce by expanding skilled trades education and increasing awareness on the value of skilled trades. By partnering with trade schools, we’re driving awareness of the value of skilled trades and offering an alternative career path for students looking to enter the workforce.
We're excited to be named a winner of three Comparably awards this quarter! We've received an award for Best Company Culture, Best CEO, and Best Company for Diversity, as voted by our associates! Thank you, Comparably!

According to recent data from ZipRecruiter, the average annual pay for college graduates is $41,636 in 2022. Meanwhile, the average salary for several occupations within the skilled trades field are comparable to that—and some even surpass it. Trade and technical schools are affordable and valuable options for individuals exploring career pathways. At Invitation Homes, our SkillUp initiative encourages students to consider a future in these rewarding and in-demand jobs. #invitationtoskillup #skilledtrades
