We’ve been nominated by the PinkNews Awards for Brand Ally of the Year 🌟 After our efforts on this year’s Summer of Pride campaign, we’re delighted to share that JET has been shortlisted as Brand Ally of the Year. Pink News is one of the world’s largest and most influential LGBTQIA+ media brands. The Brand Ally of the Year Award showcases brands that consistently and committedly ensure inclusive and diverse representation in their campaigns. Receiving this recognition for our first global, external-facing Pride initiative is a huge achievement and only possible due to the hard work of several teams across the business. From our Free to Be campaign to showing up at Pride Parades in eight cities and engaging our restaurant partners and couriers – a huge congratulations to everyone involved throughout this incredible journey 👏 Read more about our Summer of Pride campaign below! #WeAreJET #Pride #BrandAlly #JustAsYouAre

Let’s do plant-based together 🌱 2023 brings a fresh start and the chance to make changes for a happier and healthier you. This January, we join our customers on a journey to explore more plant-based foods, in support of the #Veganuary movement. Customers will benefit from a variety of offers and deals when ordering from vegan and vegetarian-friendly restaurants in multiple markets, and our very own JETers are experimenting with plant-based alternatives in our brand new wellbeing challenge 'Powered by Plants'. Plants can supercharge the health of our guts, and our guts are responsible for keeping our bodies and minds feeling at their best. By inspiring employees and customers to add different plant-based foods to meals and try vegan and vegetarian offers available on our platform, we hope to ignite those superpowers! Getting involved this year? We’ve got you every step of the way. #Wellbeing #Vegan #Vegetarian #PlantPower

We believe in the power of food in bringing people together. We have a responsibility as a business to make a positive contribution to society and use our network as a force for good. This winter, thousands are facing being homeless, lonely and vulnerable, and food poverty is closer than ever before. That’s why, for the third year running, we’re teaming up with our brilliant partner charities, Social Bite and FoodCycle, for our Winter Meal Appeal – and we’re encouraging customers, employees and couriers to help us make it a success. We’ll be offering our employees and couriers different ways to get involved including volunteer days, benefit donations, #fundraising opportunities, and food donation spots around our offices. It’s a lot of change here, you have to be able to deal with that. But I think that’s the reason to work in this business.” While he is clearly driven by progress, Jitse also believes people join us because of the wide horizon of opportunities ahead of us.
