This week, Kleinfelder President and CEO Louis Armstrong will speak at Aon’s inaugural Professional Liability Construction & Design Symposium in Chicago, as part of a series of sessions that will feature industry leaders in construction, design, and professional liability insurance. He will serve as a panelist during Session Four, “Geotech Risks: Whose land is it anyway?” alongside Sam Rainey (Managing Shareholder at McCullough P.C.), and Juan Rodriguez (Head of Insurance for Infrastructures & Construction Projects – USA, Canada, and Australia at Ferrovial). Moderated by Aon’s Rodney Taylor, Managing Director, and Terry Tennant, Senior Vice President, the panel will analyze requirements when submitting bids on civil and building projects that may have unidentified geological conditions, and how owners, contractors, and design professionals may consider the incorporation of more equitable risk-sharing provisions beyond reliance upon professional liability insurance.
