Safe + Sound Week is here! It’s about safe people and sound business and achieving both by committing to safety every single day. Whether we’re discussing safety with our managers, conducting a Loss Prevention Observation with a colleague, or speaking up to ensure everyone’s individual safety needs are met, our daily commitment to safety helps achieve safe workplaces, safe homes, and safe communities. This year, we’re recognizing Safe + Sound Week by participating in a number of activities that will raise funds to benefit three worthy organizations: Camp Quality, Food Banks Alberta, and Kids' Chance of America. During Safe + Sound Week last year, we raised over $8,500 in donations for these charities through our employees’ engagement in proactive safety plus personal donations that were matched by Kleinfelder.

The article features what engineering experts – like Kleinfelder’s Kyle Johnson and Ariel Patterson – are doing to protect and preserve our threatened infrastructure.
