Medifast continues to invest in technology and digital products to help Coaches continue to efficiently serve Clients. We recently released our OPTAVIA app, and are preparing for a broader rollout this year of the Connect app, a tool that will help Coaches manage their business.
Medifast’s unique integrated Coach model is powerful. Q2 2021 marks another new record: the company now has 59,200 active earning Coaches – a 62.2% year-over-year increase since Q2 2020 and up nearly 13% sequentially.

We recently concluded our convention, a hybrid in-person and livestream event. More than 15,000 people registered to experience valuable Coach-led sessions, panel discussions & company updates along with celebratory events honoring our Community’s impact in transforming lives.
Medifast’s philanthropic initiative #HealthyHabitsForAll brings healthy habits to even more people by aligning who we are, with how we give. As part of convention registration, our OPTAVIA Coaches led a fundraiser that generated over $100,000 for worthy nonprofits.
