My journey to Northwell Health's Healthcare Management Program
AnthonyMark's passion for care started when he was a nurse's aide at LIJ Valley Stream in 2012 and it hasn't stopped since. When he became a registered nurse in 2014, he was accepted into the Critical Care Fellowship at North Shore University Hospital - a program he defines as a pivotal moment in his career. After becoming certified in Critical Care as a CCRN, AnthonyMark was awarded the "2016 Nursing Excellence Award." It was the belief his mentors had in him that pushed him to become an assistant nurse manager, and today he continues his career as a clinical nurse leader. AnthonyMark's love for what he does shines in every position and he even won the "2017 Outstanding Nurse of the Year Award!" His biggest advice to nurses? "It's ok to be scared. The fear keeps you on your toes and that fear pushed me to be the nurse I am today. It's ok to be scared, because in the end, we were made for this." Congratulations on all your achievements!
