In celebration of our Season of Together, the Learning & Development Team hosted a series of GROW Fairs in the Bay Area and Portland. Over 120 Prometheans participated & had an opportunity to connect with Promethean leaders, engage in 1-on-1 career conversations, and strengthen their GROW Plans. We appreciate our excellent Coaches for supporting our Prometheans and thank all our teams for attending.
Malcolm Allen began his Promethean career in 2018 as a Neighbor Ambassador in Cupertino. Malcolm immediately connected with Neighbors and Prometheans alike, and was easily recognized by his positive, can-do attitude. Passionate about growth and development, Malcolm demonstrates these values through hard work and dedication to his team. It's no surprise that Malcolm was recently promoted to Sr. Neighbor Ambassador at one of our largest Neighborhoods, Spruce. Congrats Malcolm - thank you for choosing Prometheus to be a HOME for your career!
Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated a super fun Little Titan’s Day at the Home Office last Friday. The festivities included: 30 kids (ages 15 months to 15 years) + 50 Prometheans (PEP squad volunteers and parents)! After a quick bite and a round of mingling, our sports-themed festivities began. Inside, our little artistic Titans made dreamcatchers, collages and bracelets. Outside, they played interactive field games and received custom balloons from our balloon artist. To cap the day, a magician performed, bringing along his own little sidekick, his son.
In our new interactive leadership workshop, our Promethean Pilots worked together to build a plane and create an escape plan to get off the island of Savo. Together, they used their supervisory skills to work effectively as a team and happily cheered each other on throughout the day.
Another year, another incredible Masters experience. Thank you to our Prometheans for their passion and enthusiasm at this year’s festivities. Every year at Masters, we come together as a family to celebrate our accomplishments, give back to our community, and look towards the future.
The Operations Services team took a trip to the Safari! Safari West, located in Santa Rosa, is a private wildlife preserve with species native to Africa and provides a safe habitat for all animals. Thanks to their owner, the animals were even saved during the fires in 2017. The team enjoyed a walking tour in the aviary and a 2-hour drive in rugged terrain in a rolling, open-air safari vehicle.
" For the past year I have had the privilege of being part of our BrandFIT team. Onboarding our newest Prometheans has been such a great honor and has helped my own personal growth. In true Prometheus style, continuous training is done even for us Playbook Coaches. We joined together for a two day refresh and training session to ensure we are providing the ultimate on boarding experience for our new Prometheans! I’m happy to call myself a Playbook Coach and I want to thank our Learning and Development Team for everything that they do to keep us growing! " - Vanessa Barajas , Assistant Neighborhood Director Congrats to all our new Playbook Coaches!
Our Home Office recently celebrated Promethean Appreciation Day. Everyone enjoyed a Southern-themed breakfast and omelette bar to put a Promethean twist on National Employee Appreciation Day. It was a chance for our VPs and Executives to don an apron and show appreciation for our Home Office Prometheans and say thank you for their hard work and dedication.
Congratulations to our incredible team at The Carson! With their drive, enthusiasm, and attention to detail, the team has hit another milestone. At 60% leased, The Carson is home to countless happy Neighbors, making a serious impression on Slabtown, Portland.
The Princess Project promotes self-confidence and individual beauty by providing over two thousand high school teens in the Silicon Valley area with free prom dresses and accessories. It makes prom a possibility for those who could not otherwise afford to go. Our Prometheans had the opportunity to help make prom dreams a reality by serving as “Fairy Godmothers” (personal shoppers) during the Dress Giveaway event. We helped create a meaningful experience for teens by being supportive and offering words of encouragement as we helped them find the perfect prom dress and accessories. It was a joyous occasion with many teens leaving happily and looking forward to wearing their dresses.
