This month we broke ground on San Juan 1, a 200-MWAC solar and 400-MWh storage facility located in New Mexico. We're proud to partner with DESRI and Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) on this project, which will help lower energy costs, create job opportunities and generate increased tax revenue for San Juan County and the Four Corners Region. https://lnkd.in/gqVtCR-7

SOLV Energy’s Community Relations and Talent Acquisition teams joined non-profit partner, Heart of America (HOA), for a Community Building Track Session at this year’s AISES National Conference. HOA’s Jill Hardy Heath and Mylo Fowler discussed the importance of our collaborative Skip the Grid project and how this initiative is creating a brighter future in the Navajo Nation. SOLV Energy was an Onyx Gemstone sponsor for this year’s conference. Our team members ended the week by connecting with 2,500 Indigenous high school and college students, professionals, and educators at the College and Career fair, discussing potential career opportunities our industry brings.

We invest in education because we believe that today's students are tomorrow's better energy pioneers. SOLV Energy partnered with CIM Group and Heart of America to transform the library, teachers' lounge and outdoor spaces at Stratford Elementary School. As an EPC contractor on CIM Group's Westlands Solar Park since 2020, this transformation project is an example of the collaborative, long-term investments solar companies are making in local schools and nonprofits. We believe good energy has a ripple effect, and we're proud to work with partners that share our commitment to making the communities surrounding our projects brighter places to learn and grow.
