Director of Community Relations Jennifer Hershman, LEED AP will take the stage again this year at RE+ as a featured speaker on the 'Partnering with Tribal Nations on New Opportunities for Energy Independence' panel on Wednesday, September 13 at 11am. As part of a continued conversation about tribal communities, Jennifer will discuss our partnership with Heart of America and California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and how solar is creating opportunities for workforce development and energy equality in the Navajo Nation.

Solar Powers career growth. Prior to joining SOLV Energy, Danielle "Dee" Roberts worked as a Correctional Officer. When wide-scale law enforcement layoffs occurred in Kings County, a friend suggested checking out an opportunity on the Lost Hills solar project in Central California. After starting in a temporary position in 2017, Dee was promoted to a role in quality control (QAQC). Since then, Dee has gained impressive leadership experience, beginning as a foreperson and now managing QAQC crews on our Cal OSHA-recognized Desert Center sites as an Assistant Superintendent. Solar Powers opportunities. Garrett Hasher came to SOLV Energy with experience working as a driver, a cook and in sales. Since working on his first solar project in 2018, Garrett has dedicated his time and expertise to keeping our teams safe, overseeing three projects in the Midwest as a Safety Manager 🔽

This year our Good Energy community relations team and Resolve DEI council partnered to support the National Organization for Women (NOW) by donating on behalf of each of the 271 vibrant, hardworking women at SOLV Energy. We stand together in support of equity in the workplace and salute the many women who make our organization and our industry brighter, today and every day.
