Last week we welcomed a special visitor to our site #CooperKupp, wide receiver for the National Football League (NFL) Los Angeles Rams. Cooper is related to our chief engineer for the Talon-A hypersonic testbed, Jacob Brown. During his visit, Cooper had a chance to see our facilities, flight hardware, and meet with members of the team as he learned about Jacob’s contributions to our hypersonic mission. #hypersonic #LetsRoc #GoRams

Stratolaunch seeks an experienced Director, Programs to lead a hypersonic testbed development team through vehicle design, manufacturing, and test. Responsibilities will include program cost, schedule, safety, and security performance of a hypersonic test vehicle program, as well as the development and implementation of program management metrics for efficiently managing the program while providing ready and rapid information on current program status. The position will provide programmatic leadership for Stratolaunch, and, as such, competitive candidates must have robust experience in project management; government contracts; and prototype vehicle design, manufacture, and testing. Note that this leadership role will not lend itself to remote work and will require being routinely onsite at our Mojave, California, Headquarters (comprehensive relocation assistance is available). For the first time as an integrated system, Roc and Talon-A 1 (TA-1) headed outside today ahead of #HurricaneHilary to do some integrated ground tests, including fueling part of TA-1’s propulsion system. TA-1 will be our first powered hypersonic vehicle, anticipated to fly in the coming months. #LetsRoc #Hypersonic #Flight
