President Glenn Burrell visited sites on the coast of North Carolina on Thanksgiving morning to spread holiday joy and show our officers how grateful we are to have them on the team. First, he delivered treats to thank officers on duty for their service at a prestigious gated community. Next, he visited a medical research facility in Wilmington, NC, where Officer Dori Johnson was securing the facility. Ms. Johnson stated that she had originally been recommended to Sunstates by a friend who rated the company very highly; she went on the say that she has not been disappointed. We thank all security officers who work on public holidays for their dedication and professionalism; we appreciate you all. Officer Robert Thompson of Charlotte, NC, helped spread the holiday cheer at his site by supporting the CMPD Explorers Christmas Project, which has been operating since 1974. This project aids families that have experienced an emergency during the holiday season in the Charlotte area. Officer Thompson generously donated a bike for the cause. When the news was shared, Sunstates Director, Business Development & Client Engagement Scott McGillivray donated one as well.
