Aiken Regional Medical Centers and other UHS hospitals are now using Steriliz’s R-D Rapid Disinfector as an added layer of protection in our commitment to patient safety. The Disenfector, used in rooms once they have been traditionally cleaned to meet CDC standards, applies Ultraviolet-C light to disinfect and eradicate viruses and bacteria, such as C.difficile.

VCC On the Go offers preventive healthcare, wellness screenings, health maintenance and other acute care services to rural residents and those who may not have previously had access to care.

The list was determined by PayScale, which surveyed US employees working at companies on the 2014 Fortune 500 list. The survey focused on high job satisfaction, low job stress, ability to telecommute, high job meaning, experienced median pay/total cash compensation and salary delta.
Dr. Ori Lotan and Dr. Marreddy Yeruva, both CMIOs at UHS, were recently awarded the Documentation All-Star Award by Cerner Corporation. Lotan and Yeruva were recognized for implementing dynamic documentation at 25 UHS facilities within the UHS Acute Care Division. Great work!
