Our Pride @ Xperi employee resource group welcomed a few special guests for a recent hybrid event in our Galway office that also had participants from across the world. Moninne Griffith, CEO of Belong To Youth Services, shared a closer look at the issues LGBTQ+ youth face daily and empowered us with the knowledge to be better allies. Drag king Mr. Phil led an interactive family quiz that gave us the chance to bond, test our wits and win exciting prizes.
Our very own Bill Neighbors, Chief Content Officer & Geir R. Skaaden, Chief Products and Services Officer, will both be included in Media Play News 40 Most Important People in Streaming. It will be Bill’s second year in a row being nominated. We congratulate and honor Bill and Geir for their diligence in keeping Xperi at the forefront of our ever-changing industry.
Some tricks, some treats and plenty of fun from around the world! Excited to share a few captured moments of our team members and their families dressed up as we get into the Halloween spirit.
Our Employees got creative this Halloween with dressing up their pets for our Xperi Pet Costume Contest for a chance to win a prize for their furry, feathery or scaly friend.
Our Ann Arbor office recently volunteered at the Butterfly Garden in Gallup Park, mulching, weeding & cleaning up the public space. Through a partnership between the city government and residents, we were able to help maintain and beautify a community we love and care for deeply. Our employees enjoyed making a difference in their city while spending time outdoors!
A group of our Calabasas employees were happy to lend a hand recently at the YMCA. They helped distribute over 4,500 bags of food to families and organizations in need. Thanks to Xperi’s volunteer time off benefit, employees can donate up to 16 hours of their working time per calendar year toward a nonprofit organization like the YMCA and still get paid.
Xperi hosted Developing Courageous Leadership workshop for DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group Canon Club members. It was wonderful to connect with excellent women in our industry and learn about the importance of vulnerability and empathy in leadership at all levels. Special thanks to Xperi's Sarah Haddon for facilitating and creating a positive space for attendees.
Employees in our Calabasas office gathered to help make chew toys for dogs and catnip toys for cats. We are donating the toys to local no-kill animal shelters. We needed all of the paws we could get, so employees brought their own pets to the office to help!
For the sixth consecutive year, Xperi's innovation spirit was in full swing during our annual Hackathon, where 240 participants formed 55 teams. Our teams converged for 24 hours to craft cutting-edge software for projects of their choosing, embracing the essence of innovation and teamwork.
