The best thing is that they will pay a lot more than some other employers.

They offer a large network of physicians and hospitals throughout the country so you know your doctor(s) are more than likely going to be "in network". For the size of company the monthly premiums are very high; as are deductibles - whether HSA or PPO.

You get pretty good coverage with Duke. Recently all companies rates have gone up but I believe Duke's was fair.

extremely confusing for short term and long term disability, sick time dis not accrue, starts over each year whether you use it or not. only a certain amount is replenished each year, so if you use too much, you'll have less than the full amount next year.
